Over the Next couple of Months as we prepare for the launch of our new diecast marketplace, I thought I would write about some of my diecast models I enjoy on a daily business. I call them my “Hands on Collection”. Models that I do not store in a case or under glass. Diecast models that I keep in open air around my office to pick up and get close to. These models are not most expensive that you can buy but are a nice distraction to me through the rigors of the day. Some of the models actually have some wear and tear as I will point out in the articles. However, even though they are imperfect, all these models I have developed a sentimental attachment to and still enjoy.
2017 Ford GT
I decided to make this series of articles a combination of history of the vehicle and some photographs of the models that I have taken in an attempt to pull the “soul” or the art of the vehicle I think the original designer intended.
1935 Bugatti Type 59
I hope that you will enjoy some of the history and photography over the next 20 to 30 articles as I have in the weeks ahead.
1964 Shelby Cobra 427
Note: all photos are of actual diecast models.
